Tess’s Story

Earlier this year we were extremely proud and honoured to donate a cabin to a very worthy cause.

Band of Builders are a National UK Construction charity who deliver life enhancing projects for tradespeople and their families who are dealing with life’s most challenging circumstances. As well as making physical adaptations to properties to suit our beneficiaries needs we also promote Mental Health and award grants for those in urgent financial need.

The story we were involved with was Tess’s Story.

Tess from South Shields in the North East of England, whose dog alerted her to her ovarian cancer. Following the diagnosis, Band of Builders aimed to create a safe and peaceful space for Tess while she recuperated from chemotherapy.

The Log Cabin Company (North) Ltd donated a small cabin for this purpose.
